Leadership
The NTLA's board consists of experienced tax sale professionals, representing investors, lenders, local governments, attorneys, and others. The Directors oversee the direction and mission of the association, and an Executive Director who oversees the association's day-to-day business operations. Board members have developed and completed the education and experience to become Certified Tax Lien Professionals "CTLP"®.

NTLA Committees
Legislative
The NTLA Legislative Committee serves as a bridge between NTLA members and the legislative process. A portion of your NTLA membership dues go towards ensuring that the industry's interests are well-represented, that policy decisions are informed by industry expertise, and that the industry can adapt to changing regulatory environments.
State Advocacy
The NTLA State Advocacy Committee is built on State Representatives whose role fulfill a vital part in advocating for the interests and initiatives of the NTLA and the tax sale industry at the state level. The State Representatives work closely with legislators, tax collectors/treasurers, and stakeholders to monitor legislation and ensure that objectives are effectively communicated and achieved.
Public Relations
The NTLA PR Committee is responsible for managing the association's reputation, communication strategies, and interactions with the press. Their work helps shape public perceptions, promote the association's goals, and ensure that the industry's voice is heard and understood by a wide audience.
Education
The NTLA Education Committee plays a crucial role in equipping members with the knowledge, skills, and resources they need to succeed in the industry. By offering educational opportunities and fostering a culture of learning, the committee contributes to the professional growth of individuals and the advancement of the industry as a whole.
Tax Deed Investor Group (TDIG)
The NTLA Tax Deed Investor Group Committee focuses on serving the needs of tax deed investors by providing education, advocacy, resources, and networking opportunities. Its goal is to support the success of investors in this specialized field and contribute to the responsible and ethical growth of tax deed investing within the broader real estate industry.
Foundation
The NTLA Foundation Committee serves the purpose of managing and coordinating philanthropic and charitable initiatives on behalf of the NTLA. This committee focuses on giving back to the community, promoting social responsibility, and supporting causes that align with the values and mission of the National Tax Lien Association and its members.
Women In Tax Sales (WITS)
The NTLA Women in Tax Sales Committee serves the purpose of advancing the interests, professional development, and empowerment of women who are involved in or interested in the field of tax sales and related real estate investment activities. This committee focuses on addressing the specific challenges and opportunities that women may face in the industry.
